Today, the first Global Gateway Forum opened in Brussels. It brought together over 40 high-level Government representatives, financial institutions and business representatives to discuss the world's investment needs, debate solutions and seal new deals.

It is a huge honour for us to welcome you all here in Brussels for the very first edition of the Global Gateway Forum. To our special guests who have come from so far, I would like to express all my thanks for making this journey.
