Launch of T-MED: the Trans-Mediterranean Renewable Energy and Clean-Tech Cooperation Initiative

During the 2026 European Sustainable Energy Week, Commissioner for the Mediterranean Dubravka Šuica will officially launch T-MED, the European response to geopolitical challenges and energy shocks in the Euro Mediterranean area. As one of the flagship priorities of the Pact for the Mediterranean, T-MED aims to accelerate the cooperation in the field of renewable energy and clean technology, with the objective of ensuring clean, secure and affordable energy for all shores of the Mediterranean. A press conference will follow the launch of the initiative on EbS.
