Description
In 2025, EU and Jordan have elevated their relationship to a Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership, backed by an EUR 3 billion package including EUR 1.4 billion of investment to be mobilized with support from EU financial instruments.
The Jordan-EU Investment Conference planned on 21 April, with the participation of the President of the Commission will provide a platform to showcase Jordan as a competitive and reliable business destination and deepen EU–Jordan economic and investment cooperation.
In this context, Jordan government is planning a ministerial “roadshow” in European capitals to promote the Investment Conference. The first visit will take place in Brussels on 26 January, with a roundtable with private sector associations.
Objectives of the roundtable
- Promote the high-level EU-Jordan Investment Conference taking place on 21 April.
- Promote Jordan as an attractive investment place and increase EU private sector awareness of investment opportunities in Jordan.
- Foster dialogue between Jordanian authorities, EU institutions, IFIs, and EU private sector representatives.
