On Monday 26 January, the European Commission and the government of Jordan will co-host an EU-Jordan High-Level Business Roundtable in Brussels. This event aims at presenting to European stakeholders the investment opportunities in Jordan, a key partner of the European Union, particularly in sectors like water, energy, digital, connectivity, transport and high-value industries. It will also pave the way to the EU-Jordan Investment Conference in April 2026. To promote the Investment Conference, three ministers from the Jordanian government will engage in a series of high-level outreach and investment promotion events across European capitals in the coming months.
The Business Roundtable will gather Commissioner for the Mediterranean, Dubravka Šuica, the Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, Yarub Qudah, the Jordanian Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Zeina Toukan, the Jordanian Minister of Investment, Tareq Abu Ghazaleh and representatives of European international financial institutions, as well as of European private sector organisations.
