Nineteen months after the launch of the EU-Egypt Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership, the first-ever EU-Egypt Leaders’ Summit marks a pivotal opportunity to convert shared ambition into concrete results across all six Partnership pillars. Underpinned by landmark achievements – like the Investment Conference in 2024, the launch of the EU-Egypt Investment Platform in 2025, the EUR 5 billion Macro-Financial Assistance package and the successful conclusion of Egypt’s association to Horizon Europe – our cooperation is already delivering real momentum.
By convening the top political and business leaders from the EU and Egypt, financial institutions, industry association and business pioneers, the event will help give visibility, operationalise and advance our partnership’s forward-looking agenda and set the stage for a more resilient, competitive and innovation-driven EU-Egypt future. It will focus on driving sustainable competitiveness and high-impact investments in strategic sectors like clean tech value chains, fostering a dynamic innovation ecosystem that connects public and private stakeholders across both regions. The discussions will catalyse dialogue on co-investment opportunities, strategic public-private partnerships, and the regulatory reforms needed to unlock capital, attract long-term private investment and support a competitive, future-ready economy.
