Day of Dialogue in Damascus

The First ‘Day of Dialogue’ in Damascus, 15 November 2025

For the first time, the European Union, in close coordination with Syrian Civil Society and the Syrian Transitional Government, will organise the Day of Dialogue in Damascus, Syria, on 15 November 2025. Traditionally held within the framework of the annual Brussels Conference on Syria, the Day of Dialogue provides a key platform for Syrian civil society organisations to share perspectives, exchange experiences, and help shape the policies that guide international support. Since 2011, the EU has mobilised nearly €37 billion in humanitarian and resilience assistance, making it the largest donor in response to the Syrian crisis. Building on this enduring commitment, the 2025 edition of the Day of Dialogue will focus on developing concrete recommendations for the EU and the wider international community, ensuring that support for Syria’s transition is inclusive, representative, and responsive to the diverse voices and needs of the Syrian people.
